As the pioneering company who created and launched the giant smartphone back in 2011, Giant iTab were approached by the largest growing social media giant in the world.

After a short presentation meeting, their chief designer signed-off original concepts and commissioned Giant iTab to create a bespoke design of a 55 inch giant smartphone to be used in their offices across the EMEA.

This later followed a further batch of 5 x 43″ units for the new Farringdon office in London, and two for the Berlin office, both to be used as centrepieces for their customer experience centres.

There was a glowing response to all the units received. Post campaign, they decided to keep them in the reception area of their new offices for various visitors and influencers to use for their demos on social medias. To this day Giant iTab is still continuing to build and deliver these custom units across the world!

Demonstrating apps to their full potential, Giant iTabs are able to enhance user experience & transform “standard” live presentations into engaging and fun-filled transformative experiences.

Thrilled to have worked alongside experiential agency Set Creative – WPP Experiential Agency to supply Tata Consultancy Services with x8 GiantiTabs for the London Marathon Events Show at ExCeL London, with custom Giant Smartphone fascias, showcasing the TCS London Marathon App with thousands of stand visitors wishing their close ones ‘Belief Boosters’ throughout the race! Along with thousands of people taking selfies with different filters with the option for having them privately emailed.

We also had a solution on the main stage where it was used to present the app and all its features, including tracking the runners.

This solution was not only perfect for experiential marketing, the visual & digital customisation also allowed sponsors to better showcase their services too.

According to official figures published by Set Creative, this resulted in 5,920 app demos from TSC staff on the stand using Giant iTabs, a total of 4,003 selfies taken over the course of the 4-day event using Giant iTabs, and a whopping 17,993 ‘Belief Boosters’ submitted by stand visitors using Giant iTabs. This then had an exponential multiplier effect through their own social media resulting in over a million likes and shares.
