The Project

Giant iTab was commissioned to provide an innovative and cost-effective way to support the current Community Police strategy to present the latest online safety messaging to schools and the wider community.

The Challenge

As lockdown comes to an end, how do we re-engage with school children & adults in a friendly and familiar way which brings them quickly up to speed on some of the dangers of using the internet & their own smartphones.

The Solution

1 x 27”
Giant Smartphone with camera, microphone & custom flight case.

To Present

Online safety messaging using websites, Apps and 2-way video calls.

"The ‘look and feel' of the Giant iPhone is a great way to grab everyone’s attention and make our online safety presentations at events and within schools, far more effective."

DC1587 Stuart Younger-Cooper
Cybercrime Unit

“The Giant iTab can be used to access websites, apps and games so that schoolchildren & members of the public can test their knowledge around online safety in a fun and engaging way. Like most people, the majority of our engagement has been online in the last year, so we are really looking forward to getting back out into the community and anticipate that the Giant iTab will be really effective in helping us deliver our core safety and prevention messages.

The company at Giant iTab have supported us extremely well in preparing for this initiative and even developed a solution with a camera which now allows us to make video calls on the device, so other officers can join the presentation from our police station as well as in person.

Giant iTab are also offering a ‘Special Discount’ to all police forces and public sector services.
